How many appointments do I need for Veneers?
Generally, 3 to 4 appointments are needed. The first appointment is for the examination, consultation (Discussion on your requests about the shape, size, and color of your veneers), x-ray, deciding on the final treatment plan, and eventually preparation of the teeth, taking the impression and putting your temporary veneers on. The second appointment is rehearsal. The doctor and ceramist check your veneers together with you and get your feedback about the shape, size, and color. We make sure you are happy, not 99%, but 100%, with your veneers; so, every feedback from your side is valuable during the rehearsal appointment. When you are pleased and satisfied with the final look of your laminate veneers, they are ready to be fitted. The third appointment is for fitting the veneers permanently. This procedure requires meticulous work and takes time. Therefore, local anesthesia is applied beforehand for your comfort. The veneers are carefully fitted one by one, leaving enough contact between the veneers to enable the flossing. The fourth appointment is for final checks and controls, making sure you are all comfortable with your bite after you test your new teeth on eating. Depending on the size of the treatment and your appointment schedule, second & third, or third & fourth appointments can be combined on the same day. Also, please be aware that we are doing something customized with your teeth. Therefore, the number and duration of the appointments might change. In the end, our team strives to reach the perfect result.
